On Thursday January 28th, One World DMG sponsored its first annual Gallery showcasing the creative work of the company’s employees.
The show, currently on display in the company’s Warren office, boasts an impressive array of entries including; pencil sketches, paintings, photography, pottery, mixed-media, story-telling and music. Some staffers even got creative with the type of entry they submitted. Ryan Mach, a mechanical engineer with One World, brought in a custom bike he built himself. It’s a beauty! Employees outside the company’s traditional “creative” staff were encouraged to participate and came through with some of the show’s standout contributions.
In addition to the amazing artwork and photography gracing the hallways, employees enjoyed a smorgasbord of wine and cheeses at the Gallery’s opening. Attendees were also treated to delicious chicken francaise prepared by Rich Costa, and pomegranate martinis created by resident mixologist extraordinaire Michelle Pezuti.
A fun time was had by all as employees shared stories about what inspired them artistically, and talked about their own creative process. Creative Director Pat Fox summed it up this way, “We’ve always known that there’s a lot of talented people that work here, but it was really exciting to see people express themselves creatively outside the scope of work. I believe creativity feeds creativity. The gallery gave us all a good boost.”
Couple if notes: Recipe is for 1, adjust to taste and for larger batches. Personally, I do not care for an overly sweet drink, so take note that the Pomegranate Liquor is on the sweet side! Also, fun fact when making a drink with Champs, always add it last and pour in the glass to keep the bubbles!
- 1 Jigger good Vodka
- 1/2 Jigger Pomegranate Liquor
- 1/2 Jigger Cranberry Juice
- Good Champagne or Proescco
- Pomegranate seeds for garnish
In Shaker combine 1st four ingredients and give it a good shake!
In glass add Pomegranate seeds, pour mix from shaker into glass.
Top with Champagne and enjoy! Cheers! – Michelle
